LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD TOGETHER.

If you need expert guidance in researching and securing grant funding, you've come to the right place. I'm in it to win it, and I'd love to share a victory with you.

Let's face it, grant proposals are kind of a hassle; they take time and resources to research and write, there's no guarantee of success, and if you're like most professionals these days --particularly in the non-profit world-- you've got enough on your plate as is. That's where I come in.

Let me help you find the right funder, then write a winning proposal. I can even manage the entire application process, from start to finish, if you like.

I'm here to make the grant process as simple and stress-free as possible; let me do what I do best, so that you can do what you do best!

About

My name is Dave Morley.

I have been active in the non-profit world since 2002, having cut my teeth with Friends of the Earth Korea, then moving on to work with Sierra Club and a host of other non-profits. My success has been primarily in Communications and Fundraising, but I've filled many roles in the non-profit world at one point or another. My well-rounded knowledge of this realm will benefit your organization greatly as we appeal to discerning funders.

I hold a master's degree in Environmental Studies from Antioch University, with a focus on Advocacy (including grant writing and fundraising).

While the environment --particularly that of Northern New England-- is an area near and dear to me, I assist in a range of causes, from public health to emergency medical and fire services to local library programs. I have a simple, no-nonsense, practical style that yields tremendous results with as little hassle as possible.

I partner with similar-minded individuals within organizations, schools, libraries and government entities to identify and secure grant funding.

If you're serious about what you do and have your ducks in a row, we'll get along great!

Tailored Solutions

Whether you're new to the grants process or an old hand, I will offer you the appropriate level of expert guidance --in addition to hard research and writing skills-- to identify and secure the funding that you need.

There is no single one-size-fits-all model, so get in touch for an absolutely free, no obligation consultation, and we'll take it from there. In the meantime, here are some of the services that I am proud to offer:

1

Grant Research &
Grant Writing

I will put my top notch research skills to work to identify highly suitable funding opportunities, and craft a highly polished, brutally effective grant proposal that will undoubtedly make your organization stand out from the rest.

2

Grant Review

You've written your own grant proposal? Well done! Now let me  help you tune it up and make sure you've hit the mark so you can submit it in confidence and get the result you're looking for.

3

Grant Management

Your proposal was funded; excellent! But there's still work to do. To ensure a healthy and long-lasting relationship with funders, and to remain as an organization in good standing, we'll need to demonstrate that deadlines are being met and reporting obligations are fulfilled. I'll be glad to manage all of this for your organization, if need be.

Fees

For first time customers and one-off projects, an hourly arrangement will be the most appropriate, and I charge $85/hour. If you look around, you'll find that to be fairly middle-of-the-road pricing for freelance grant writing services. But while my pricing is pretty average, I guarantee you off-the-charts value, every time!

The amount of time it takes to write an effective grant proposal depends on a variety of factors, including organizational support and the complexity of the grant itself, but as a general rule, a medium-sized foundational grant will require on average 10 -12 hours of effort.

For organizations interested in building an ongoing relationship, I will be quite happy to discuss project-based fees or a monthly retainer model.

In any case, get in touch for an absolutely free consultation and we'll figure out what will work best for your organization.
